Name Lists & Surname Research
The WDFHG undertake Name searches, based on the surnames of families who have been permanent residents in the Bland Shire and/or who have contributed to the community and its surroundings.
WDFHG Member Surname Interest provides the current list of surnames of interest to our members and the associated places and dates.
Local residents and members of the WDFHG are helping to contribute to the transcription of local newspapers now available on the Trove website. This work is open to the public and inscription can be made directly on the Trove website.
